What will your job look like:
- Core Teleoperation: Actively pilot one or more robots using a dedicated teleoperation system for extended periods.
- AI Data Generation: Perform a wide range of complex tasks remotely, demonstrating the optimal way to complete them.
- Testing & Validation: Work with engineering and AI teams to run tests, validate new software builds, and identify performance limits or bugs.
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify patterns and suggest improvements to the teleoperation interface, robot behaviors, and data collection procedures.
- Protocol & Safety: Adhere to all established protocols for robot operation, equipment handling, and data logging, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
All you need is:
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely describe complex technical actions and issues.
- Focus & Dexterity: A high degree of focus, hand-eye coordination, and situational awareness, with the ability to perform complex remote tasks for extended periods.
- Schedule: Must be available for a regular schedule of 45 hours a week. Operational needs may require evenings, weekends, or early morning hours.
- Work Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, tech-driven office environment and remain productive while working at a computer/teleoperation workstation for extended periods.
- Attitude: Eager to learn, embrace constructive feedback, and strive for constant personal and team improvement.
Nice to have:
- A passion for robotics, AI, video games, or complex remote systems.
- Excellent physical coordination, spatial awareness, and fine motor skills.
- Proven ability to learn and master new complex physical or digital tasks quickly.
- Experience with remote-control systems, joysticks, VR/AR, or complex video game controllers (e.g., flight simulators, drone operation).
- Basic familiarity with software troubleshooting or robotics concepts.
